Marking your availability

The calendar on the event page lets you tap dates you can attend. Tap again to deselect. Changes save instantly — no submit needed.

Days the host proposes

A host can put forward the days the event could happen on. Those days appear marked in your calendar, so you're not guessing which dates are even under consideration.

They're a proposal, not a restriction — you can still tap any other day that works for you, and it still counts. If none of the proposed days works for enough of the group, the best day people actually offered wins instead, and the host is told so.

Hosts: tap Propose days to guests under the calendar. It starts from the days you've already marked for yourself, so you can trim rather than start over. Editing the list later never erases availability people have already given you.

How far ahead you can plan

Availability runs to the end of the fourth month, counting the current one — so in August you can answer for August, September, October and November. The calendar stops there, and a host cannot propose a day beyond it.

The limit exists because a date further out cannot be chosen: the group summary only counts days inside that window, so a day beyond it would collect ticks that never add up to anything.

Proposing days also marks you as available on them. Putting a day forward is saying the event could happen then, so it counts as your own answer — you don't have to tick the same days twice. Removing a day later doesn't unmark you; your availability stays until you change it yourself.

The reverse also holds: if you remove your availability from a day you proposed, it stops being a suggestion — there is no point putting a day forward you can't host. On an event with more than one organiser it only stops once none of you can make it.

Group summary

The summary shows dates where more than half the group is free. Each row shows a count (e.g. 4 / 6) and a fill bar. The best date — the earliest with the highest attendance — is marked with a star.

Setting the event date (hosts)

When every invited participant is available on a date, a Set as event date → button appears. Clicking it saves the date to the event. Once a date is set, the availability calendar is hidden and the date shows in the event header.

Conflict detection

If a participant is already a player in another deshelved event on a given date, that date is excluded from their availability count — even if they marked themselves free. This keeps the summary accurate when someone is double-booked.
